Grievance Redressal Policy

Last updated: 20 July 2026

We take every concern seriously. This policy explains how you can raise a grievance about our website, our handling of your personal data, a donation, or our conduct, and how we will respond. It reflects our obligations under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it.

1. Scope

This policy covers grievances relating to: the content or operation of this website; the collection, use or protection of your personal data; donations, receipts and refunds; and any conduct by our staff or volunteers in connection with our work. It applies to anyone who interacts with us through this website.

2. Grievance Officer

In accordance with the DPDP Act and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines) Rules, we have designated a Grievance Officer to receive and address complaints:

Grievance Officer: [to be confirmed — name and designation]. Email: hello@abhijeetsevabhavi.org. Telephone: +91 99226 99011. Address: Ajintha Nagar, Wangi Road, Parbhani, Maharashtra 431401, India.

3. How to raise a grievance

Please write to the Grievance Officer at hello@abhijeetsevabhavi.org with the subject line “Grievance”, describing your concern clearly, along with your name and contact details, relevant dates and references (such as a transaction ID or the web page in question), and any documents that help us understand the issue. Providing complete information helps us resolve your grievance faster.

4. How we will respond

We will acknowledge your grievance within 48 hours of receiving it. We will investigate fairly and aim to resolve it within 15 days, and in any event within 30 days, in line with applicable law. If we need more time or more information, we will tell you and explain why.

5. If you are not satisfied

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate the matter. For data protection concerns, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India under the DPDP Act. For donation or consumer concerns, you may approach the appropriate consumer forum. For unlawful content, you may pursue remedies available under the Information Technology Act, 2000.

6. Safeguarding and serious concerns

We are committed to the safety and dignity of the women and children we serve. Any concern relating to the safety of a child or vulnerable person, harassment, fraud or other serious misconduct will be treated with priority and in confidence, and we will act in accordance with applicable law, including reporting to the authorities where required.

7. No retaliation

We will not tolerate any retaliation against a person who raises a genuine grievance in good faith.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy and the Grievance Officer’s details from time to time; the current version will always appear on this page.
