The people

Led by the communities we serve.

Our leadership has spent their working lives in these districts. They are not visitors to this struggle.

Leadership
Sudhir Sabhadinde
Secretary

Sudhir Sabhadinde

Sudhir has led Abhijeet Sevabhavi's work on the ground since 2013. For over a decade he has organised women workers and Dalit communities across rural Maharashtra, campaigning for fair wages, safer workplaces and the basic dignity the season so often denies. His days run between government offices and roadside camps, turning grievances into commitments.

Archana Ambhore
Treasurer

Archana Ambhore

Archana works closely with women sugarcane workers on the social and economic issues that shape their lives. She carries their demands into meetings with officials and connects the organisation to MAKAAM, the national forum for women farmers, keeping both the accounts and the community's trust.

Chhaya Padghan
Vice President

Chhaya Padghan

With more than twenty years of grassroots work in Hingoli and the districts around it, Chhaya has helped form over 300 self-help groups, supported 1,200 household toilets, and trained 150 women in new livelihoods. She has long worked through MAKAAM to secure fair wages and dignity for women in the cane fields.

Work alongside them.

We are always looking for people who will show up and stay. Volunteer your time or a professional skill.
